A FRIENDLY BACK TO SCHOOL BACKPACK & SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

For the third year in a row, alongside the Calli Family who started this project in 2016, the Miami Shores Friendly Villagers and the Unity on the Bay Church provided over 50 backpacks, completely equipped with pencil cases, notebooks, reams of paper, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, rulers, watercolors, glue sticks, lunch boxes, hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, etc to Safe Space. The Safe Space facility is a local domestic violence shelter currently housing 30+ children. The support we provide is greatly appreciated, they count on our help as it ensures the children start their school year in a positive note, with pride.
